Distance, consumption and trip time stay visible after you switch the engine off.

What changes

Unit 5F, object 0B1B (vehicle menu): byte 10, bit 6 = 1. Trip data stays visible in the MMI with the ignition off.

Details

The menu_display_board_computer_clamp_15_off item from the MIB3 firmware adaptation table: show the trip computer with terminal 15 off. The menu item itself (bit 7) is on from the factory and is not changed. The item name comes from the firmware, but there are no reports of writing it on MIB3 yet — check the result after the restart. The MMI restarts after writing. Unit 5F on MQB Evo is SFD-protected — you need a token for unit 5F. To turn it off, set the same bit to 0.
