What changes

Dataset 7204, bytes 23–24: 00 00 → F7 09, CRC32 recalculated. A subwoofer slider in the sound menu.

Details

For cars with the Audi Sound System (option code 9VD) and the factory subwoofer in the spare wheel well, without Bang & Olufsen. A separate subwoofer level control appears in the MMI sound menu, next to bass, mid and treble. Only two bytes of the controls configuration change (dataset 7204); the sound tuning, speakers and signal routing are not touched. Before writing, Odyx checks the dataset version (A026), the 9VD audio system code and that the slider is not there yet; if anything differs, nothing is written. Without a subwoofer the slider does nothing. Module 5F is SFD-protected — a token is required. The MMI restarts after writing. Rollback: write the original dataset from the history.
