DSG adaptation DQ200

The gearbox relearns the clutch kiss points — after repairs or when it jerks.

Odyx Pro

What changes

The gearbox re-measures the clutch touch points and the fork positions. Done after a clutch or mechatronics replacement and when the car jerks at low speed.

Details

Starts the factory basic-setting routine in the gearbox unit (RoutineControl 0380); the app follows its status on channel 0102. The gearbox moves the forks and presses the clutches by itself: several minutes of clicking and crackling are normal. The accumulated characteristic points are reset to the factory curve, and the gearbox keeps learning while driving. The friction coefficient is not reset by this procedure.

Before you start

Takes about 4 min.

  • DSG oil is warm: temperature between +30 and +90 °C (after a short drive)
  • Selector in P, parking brake applied
  • Brake pedal pressed and held until the very end of the procedure
  • Ignition on, engine off — you will be asked to start it
  • Nobody near the wheels or under the car, doors closed
