Reset: oil change

The oil change reminder starts counting again.

Odyx Pro🔒 SFD activation required

What changes

Unit 17: objects 2243 and 2244 are zeroed completely, 2232 byte 0 = 00. The oil change reminder starts counting again.

Details

The same as the reset in the service menu after an oil change. The objects are those of the MQB instrument cluster; on the 8Y cluster they are checked by reading — if one is missing, a3c refuses before writing. The interval is not changed: the cluster calculates the next due date from its own settings. Unit 17 on MQB Evo is SFD-protected — a token for unit 17 is needed. Roll back by writing the object backups from history.

  2. Odyx scans the units, recognises the car and shows what is on and what can be enabled.
  3. Open the feature card: before / after / how to check, and the change plan.
