What changes

Unit 17: bytes 0–1 of objects 22A6 and 22A7 = 00. The inspection reminder starts counting again.

Details

The same as resetting the inspection in the service menu. The objects are those of the MQB instrument cluster; on the 8Y cluster they are checked by reading — if one is missing, a3c refuses before writing. The interval is not changed. Unit 17 on MQB Evo is SFD-protected — a token for unit 17 is needed. Roll back by writing the object backups from history.
