What changes
Unit 09, object 0D0C: byte 1, bits 0–1 = 10 (“less sensitive”). The automatic lights come on only when it gets noticeably darker.
Details
Setting of the newer MQB body control module: object 0D0C, byte 1, bits 0–1 (00 — more sensitive, 01 — normal, 10 — less sensitive). Object 0D0C also exists on the older module with different bits (byte 3), so a3c first checks that the unit 09 long coding is empty, as on the newer module, and refuses before writing otherwise. Unit 09 on MQB Evo is SFD-protected — a token for unit 09 is needed. To restore the factory setting use the “normal” preset or the object backup from history.
