What changes

The pistons move up to the new pads, the parking brake works again. ESP 9 Premium ABS unit.

Details

Factory procedure 'brake pad replacement mode — end' in the MLB Evo ABS unit: RoutineControl 03A0 with parameter 04 00 00 (without it if the unit refuses). Run it once the calipers are fitted with new pads. a3c waits for the unit to report completion and closes the routine. Then apply and release the parking brake a few times with the car stationary.

Before you start

Takes about 1 min.

  • Calipers fitted, pads in place
  • Selector in P, ignition on, engine off
  • Bonnet open, battery charger connected
  • Parking brake released, pedals not pressed

How to enable it in Odyx
