What changes

Unit 09: 0A6A byte 0 bit 0 = 1 (the doors lock once a speed threshold is reached), 0A65 byte 1 bit 4 = 1 (an MMI menu item to switch the function on and off).

Details

Two settings of the newer MQB body control module: auto-lock at speed and the MMI menu item. The switch appears in the MMI central-locking settings; if it is not there right away, switch the ignition off and on. On the older module the same options are 0D08 byte 0 bit 2 and byte 3 bit 0, so a3c refuses there before writing. Unit 09 on MQB Evo is SFD-protected — a token for unit 09 is needed. Roll back by writing both object backups from history.

  2. Odyx scans the units, recognises the car and shows what is on and what can be enabled.
  3. Open the feature card: before / after / how to check, and the change plan.
