What changes

Module 5F (Discover): object 0B3C, byte 37, bits 0 = 1, 2 = 1. The Think Blue screen appears in the vehicle menu.

Golf VII 5G/AU. Compatible MIB2 only; a menu that rates how economical the trip was. The map has not been confirmed by a write on a car. Odyx reads the object first and shows the changes. To undo, use the write history.

How to enable it in Odyx

  1. Plug an ELM327 Bluetooth LE adapter into the OBD port (on a Mac also Wi‑Fi, USB or DoIP).
  2. Odyx scans the units, recognises the car and shows what is on and what can be enabled.
  3. Open the feature card: before / after / how to check, and the change plan.
  4. Confirm the write. A backup is made automatically; put it back from the logbook any time.
