What changes
Unit 09, object 0A57: byte 1, bits 3 and 4 = 0. The car no longer beeps or shows a message about the lights being on when you open the door with the ignition off.
Details
A setting specific to the newer MQB body control module (the older one has no such option); a3c first checks that the unit 09 long coding is empty, as on the newer module. Without the warning it is easy to leave the parking lights or headlights on and drain the battery. Unit 09 on MQB Evo is SFD-protected — a token for unit 09 is needed. Roll back by writing the object backup from history.
