What changes

Cluster 17 long coding, byte 1, bit 0 = 1 (staging). When the ignition is switched on, the needles or Virtual Cockpit dials sweep to the end and back, as on S and RS models.

Details

MLB Evo instrument cluster coding: one bit, the other bytes stay. Enabled from the factory on S and RS models. If the cluster is SFD-protected, a3c warns before writing. To turn off, set the same bit to 0.

How to enable it in Odyx

  1. Plug an ELM327 Bluetooth LE adapter into the OBD port (on a Mac also Wi‑Fi, USB or DoIP).
  2. Odyx scans the units, recognises the car and shows what is on and what can be enabled.
  3. Open the feature card: before / after / how to check, and the change plan.
  4. Confirm the write. A backup is made automatically; put it back from the logbook any time.
