What changes

Unit 56 (radio): adaptation channel 39, bit 4 = 1.

Details

Audi A4 B8 (8K). Concert and Symphony radios without MMI only. The channel comes from public descriptions of the B8 adaptations and has not been confirmed by a write on a car. Odyx reads the channel's current value first and shows the change: on other versions of the unit the same channel number can mean something else — check that the current value is the one you expect. You need an ELM327 adapter that supports TP2.0. To undo, use the write history.

How to enable it in Odyx

  1. Plug an ELM327 Bluetooth LE adapter into the OBD port (on a Mac also Wi‑Fi, USB or DoIP).
  2. Odyx scans the units, recognises the car and shows what is on and what can be enabled.
  3. Open the feature card: before / after / how to check, and the change plan.
  4. Confirm the write. A backup is made automatically; put it back from the logbook any time.
